Sizes for children 50 to 176 are based on average height on a scale ranging from infant (1 month) to teen (16 years). Alternatively, some manufacturers provide age specifications, such as "6-9 months" or "3 years".
As a general rule, use the child's current height along with the child's approximate age to find the size of the clothing item. However, it is possible to find variations in the models of the individual brands even in children's sizes.
