Oats are a cereal rich in many nutrients, very different from each other, but which through a synergistic action can lead to protection of the organism. For example, the high content of soluble fibers can be useful for the intestine, as it accelerates the transit of food and favors the proliferation of lactobacilli, "enemies" of pathogenic bacteria, improving intestinal health. In particular, the beta-glucans present in soluble fiber can have beneficial effects on lipid metabolism (with an action on lowering cholesterol), on carbohydrate metabolism (they lower the glycemic index) and on the feeling of satiety. Polyphenols, strong antioxidants, are also present in good quantities in this cereal, to which they have recognized anti-inflammatory properties. Not to be overlooked is also the higher protein content compared to many other cereals. There are many micronutrients present in oats: phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, selenium as regards minerals and Vit. B, Vit. E as regards vitamins. The Avena formulation also includes other added ingredients: vitamins, Coenzyme Q10, Taurine and Lipoic acid increase the antioxidant power. The latter also acts on the metabolism of carbohydrates, in particular it helps to avoid glycemic peaks. Chromium picolinate enhances this action, which supports the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and optimizes insulin efficiency. Oats can be used in a very simple way, for example, for breakfast added to smoothies, milk or yoghurt. Alternatively it can be combined with other ingredients and cooked for the preparation of baked goods.

How to use: dissolve 4 scoops of product (corresponding to 50 g) in 150 ml of water or skimmed milk.
