Salty Energy+ is an energy bar whose main sources of carbohydrates are: oat flakes and rice. It also contains raisins, sunflower seeds, magnesium citrate and Maldon salt (a particular salt obtained from the salt pans of Maldon, an English town, which has a particular crystalline form). All these elements give the bar a completely different taste compared to the classic energy bars: it is salty and suitable for those who, during physical activity, want an energy supply through a non-sweet food. Salty Energy+ is particularly useful during medium-long duration training or competitions (over 2 hours) when muscle glycogen stores decrease significantly or run out, forcing the athlete to eat before the end of the performance.

How to use: before and/or during prolonged efforts, 1 bar for every hour of activity.
